Description
The Fire Desert, almost always covered by dust clouds is a desolate place, a no-man's land. Mining is free for all the nations, if one survives its dangers everything that finds is for himself. The prizes are the star-diamonds and the appreciated rare earths. Many expeditions disappear during the nights and nobody knows why.

Nice placement of the light, especialy on the b/g mountains, and the restricted colour palette works well. There are a few unexpected elements, like stormclouds over the desert or a high-tech boring machine in what one takes to be a low-tech society, but the overall impression is very pleasing.
