What a cool shot! There's a kind of textured, crackly effect going on in this that seems to really heighten the moody qualities of this shot. In a way it has a kind of updated, less turgid "Hound of the Baskervilles" feeling to it, only without the Baskervilles or a dog. Oh well. I love the textured darkness of this, and the moon is deliciously intense. This shot rocks!
Gorgeous work, Melinda! I love the result.
Fantastic shot! Looks like a painting!
