Description
Her spirit lives in the earth
With her family
And in the stars
With her dreams
Her beauty lights the moon
And the skies
She is loving
She is loved
She is wolf
And her spirit never dies.
Spirit Of The Wolf prose by Carol Cavalaris ©
This image is dedicated to my dear friend, Tish, who loved wolves. She collected every wolf image I ever created. Tish was the kindest, sweetest person I have ever known, and sadly, she passed away on Monday, but her spirit will live on in those who love her.
Special thank you to Ilona Krijgsman for the use of her lovely wolf photos.
Hope you enjoy.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your friend, this is an amazing dedi for her. xxx
A beautiful dedication.. Somehow, I feel we all know what others feel even after we're gone.
A very beautiful tribute to your friend Tish and the poem goes so well with it too. Excellent work with your brushes too and lovely colouring.
So sorry to hear of your loss! This is a beautiful image, and dedication!
I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. I'm sure she would have loved this scene if she loved wolves. It's beautiful.
Nice job
I'm sorry to hear about your friend, and she would surely have appreciated this beautiful dedication of such a stunning image.
Beautiful image and gorgeous work! I'm so sorry for your loss.
Fantastic work!!!
GENIAL.
I'm not commenting much now, but I wanted to get here as soon as I could to express my condolences & hugs for your great loss, Tish sounded like a wonderful loving soul, and there's something special about someone who collects everything we create, in whatever area, and here you're posting an image in such an area, for her. I agree with what you say about wolves, they have a love & loyalty that is deep & deeply endearing, and I can see that Tish's love was like that for you. Your image shows a wolf reaching towards the moon, but she looks back as she reaches, the way all canines do when something calls them: There's a sense that no matter what they're doing, they'll always turn to find you if you need them. That seems to me the essence of caring & love, and it's a tribute to your friend, who maybe is looking back now, as she makes her journey, but never failing to stop & find you the minute you call out to her. And then maybe she's also looking out from inside that large moon, the inner-wolf looking out to the world from some remote place where wolves & their spirits dwell. It just seems all so perfect for the way you describe your friend. It's another passionate on-fire image, doused in calming hues, and filled with calls & love, as your imagery always is. Very sorry for your loss, and I wish Tish a radiant journey & you much comfort, as you take her memory with you & bless her on her way. I hope to return as soon as I can. (Your recent rose upload was luscious.) But for now, my deepest condolences for your dear & precious friend. May she & you both be comforted with peace.
So sorry for your loss.
Remarkable work, Bravo!!!
