Description
The back end of a 1959 Chevrolet El Camino pickup. It was the original colors that caught my eye on this one. It was just put up for sale.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.
They are very much appreciated.

A long time ago, before middle-aged forgetfulness sat in (and when i worked for an auto parts store), I could tell you the actually tell you the names Chevy had for these colors. I think the top one is either Sea Mist or Glenn Green. I've always loved old Chevies, and have a particular fondness for the flamboyant '59s. As far as I know they're the only cars I can think of that are on both the 10 Ugliest and 10 Best Looking American Cars of All Time Lists. I would have to have been in on the planning session for the El Camino. "Let's see, why don't we chop the roof off the Impala station wagon, take the guts out, and turn in into a pickup truck?" "Brilliant!" Great shot! Love the hand-rails.
