Thank you for stopping for a closer look. Any and all comments are always welcome and appreciated.
The background for this image is actually a picture i took last May when the river that runs behind our house had spring break-up. It is always an interesting time to watch as the chunks of ice over 3 feet thick start crashing into each other. The noise of these ice chunks smashing into each other with the force of a swollen river behind them is loud and an impressive force of nature.
The weather has moderated a lot today. is -17C right now, so after hitting -50 yesterday, this feels like spring is here.
Have a great day.
Jim

Absolutely fascinating creation. Love it.
SUPERB and OUTSTANDING creation !
minus 50! I am only just comfy at 50+, and become too hot at about 78F. This is like a metal Narwhal!
What a cool form! Fantastic details 'n' gradient! Well done! (: Brrrrrr!
Splendid design !!!!!!
wondeful work!!
Very nice structure, appears realy dense and the color is terrific. I've worked way up north in Alberta/BC in the Muskeg when Breakup starts, convoying a seismic crew out of an area and seeing the Truck in front of me just disappear as it fell through the loosening Skeg, that Muskeg is wild stuff. Peace
Shining creation.
Fantastic! Great color and ligthing. Corre

Wonderful image filled with detail Jim, and I love the title
Wonderful ice breaker, the colors and lighting are awesome. The spear is a added touch to move the bergs. The details are superb!! This would be a awesome sight out our back yard in the Spring!!! Great job and the title really fits perfectly. Have a good day Jim.

excellent work Jim
Very cool work!!
As an ex-Navy man, I am sure you know that two vital ingredients in an icebreaker are hull thickness and power. Well, your icebreaker today certainly has obvious hull thickness and I must say it certainly looks to me like it has power to spare. Not only that, it is the coolest looking icebreaker I have ever seen. And judging from the fore-point, it looks like it may pick up dinner along the way. Very impressive, Jim.
A wonderful icebreaker you have created here and I hadn't thought that the ice would be noisy when it hits another piece of ice. You can tell we don't get much snow here eh! Excellent work.
