Description
As illustrator usually I creates artworks for book covers or magazines on demand, but I long toyed with the idea to create illustrations of classic science fiction novels to put on the royalty free market, as usual for my spare pruduction.
Here's the cover (the fourth of my "classic sci-fi series" - take a look to the other ones) of the novel Foundtion by Isaac Asimov first published in 1951.
Potrait here is "intellectual hero" of the novel, Hari Seldon.

Great image! The Foundation novel was my gate into the world of non-pulp-scifi. And your Hari Seldon is an excellent visualisation of one of it's main-characters.

I don't like the hands, they look preset & fake, killing this classic for me. The rest is spot on genius. I zoomed til the hands were out of screen & it's fan-freakin-tastic. Maybe recrop or rerender? This is trippin the edge awesome! brUno.

was asmimoff the writer of that story about a war between two worlds where it seems the border between the empires at war was a mirror you read about a soldier going home for a long leave.. but as he travels .. almost no time goes by at the battle field.. so even though he grows old in peace.. at the border only minutes go by.. and when he returns something horrible is about to happen...
