Description
The city of his enemies is in ruins and burning. But most of his companions are also dead, and the great wealth said to be had here could not be found. So now he heads home...alone...empty handed...and very weary of war.

A superb job Marco, always surprises me with the utmost attention to detail.
Super fantastic! Great render and great bit of posing, the warrior does have that weary look about him, you can see it in his body as well as his expression. Yes, time to go home, hang up the sword, kiss the wife and kids, and rest. When the thrill of looting and sacking your neighbors is gone, what is left but to stay home in bed. ;o)

This is extremely impressive - you have captured a truly human expression. It it seems so life like, I want to ask him what he has been through and also to avoid his spear.

The ruins are a perfect setting for the weary, depressed expression on both warrior and steed. This is outstanding, Marco, as even the sky casts gloom.
