Description

As illustrator usually I creates artworks for book covers on magazines on demand, but I long toyed with the idea to create illustrations of classic science fiction novels to put on the royalty free market, as usual for my spare pruduction. Here's the cover of the novel Dune by Frank Herbert. I hope you will like it! :) Totally rendered in Bryce 7, postwork with Photoshop 7 and Dynamic-Photo HDR. The original file is 2545x3579 pixels. I didn't think anybody could do the novel justice but this one is almost like the picture in my mind whenever I read about the suit and the worm... Good show, mate!
