Description
Went to the Victorian Parliament House on Friday, which I've seen and photographed many times. This time, however, I noticed that the ledges way up along the top of the building actually had astonishing detail on them.
I deliberately positioned this so as to get some interesting angles, along with the rather amazing architectural detail that went into the building. At the time the building was planned and constructed, Melbourne was the second or third richest city in the world, and it definitely shows in the detail and design of Parliament House (this is just one of many examples of the extravagance these very wealthy Victorians lavished on this public building; the inside of the upper house room is jaw-droppingly ornate, and the vestibule walls are decorated with actual gold...).

Very interesting detail in your picture. Many interesting pictures commence with a non-usual POF and/or angle. And the composition does the rest. So very well seen.
Wow! This is great! When I saw the thumb, my interest level was at about a three, but I thought "what the heck ... I'm not doing anything else." The entire picture pops and sizzles and is SO exciting! Angles and details are superb. Cropping this for the thumb took all the zip out of it, and I very nearly missed seeing the whole thing. An astonishing shot! Creative and original and fantastic!
