Description
The gold eye on this occasion is that of a young Bald eagle before they get the white head we all associate with this beautiful eagle species..
The white head does not develop until the eagle is aged 5 or so.. The white head or sometime white tail feathers help provide some reflective light back into the water, and thus make the eagles invisible to the fish until it is too late..
It would seem chicken was on the menu rather than fish today!
