I'd be taking a lot of photos of this door and any like it! including closeups Cool capture, Dana
Yeah, I get that a lot. This is great!
I a-door this door. :-) The sort of place I'd like to have. And yup, people ask me that all the time and I've even been called names for being crazy enough to take photos of vacant lots and such.
Quite a fancy-looking door, Dana! This is something we don't see too often! :-)
Nice colors. Never know what you will see in front of a camera lens/
Very nice capture Dana, adorable place, lovely one!
I love a good door and this is as good as they get! What colors! This is the kind of shot that would leave me grinning from ear to ear if I took it. As it stands, I'm grinning from ear to ear just looking at it. And yeah, I got that whole "Why's he photographing THAT?" quite a lot. It's hilarious when people overseas do it as you're photographing a castle or something; of course if it's a castle, some little old lady will walk up to you and offer to show you where they keep the spare castle: the one nobody photographs. But I digress. I love this shot.
South Florida has such a diverse population of people and cultures, that things like this are very common. The question is whether I can take the shot without getting yelled at. Private property and all that kind of thing. My thought process is that if they take the time to paint an entrance like this, someone in there is hoping that a passersby will notice it. :>) Dana
Lol, I was taking some fotos of a basket of crackers and my sister still teases me about it. I told her one of these days she going to see a HUGE framed foto of crackers for sale and she will be sorry she ever laughed at me!! Great shot, love these kinds of places!!
Ha ha, that's a good one!
Well seen and well captured, lovely dappled shadows too.

Fabulous, Dana! Unpassable!

I get it too, and this one is totally worth it. What a beautiful door!
The 'ole saying goes..The beauty is in the eye of the beholder Dana!.. Great Capture!
WOW! Fascinating door!
wonderful image!!
~Very cool capture!~
What a wonderful door and building:) Great shot, thanks for sharing it with us:).
Why am I not surprised, you get people asking that question :o) Lovely door, it is there to be photographed :o)
I agree with Jendellas this door is just asking to be photographed. A super idea and a great capture. If my doors weren't glass I would be tempted to do this too.
In those situations, I mostly get asked, "why are YOU taking a picture of that?" Neat shot of this Disney World type entrance. I never heard of saw a lizard door before. I would expect Hansel and Gretel to pop out of there at any time.
gorgeous photo and details!!
