Did you ever see 'TheThird Man' Don, I meen in particular the scene wher Harry Lime (Orson Wells) is desperatly trying to get away from Holly Martin (Joseph Cotten) and he's scrabbling up the iron runged ladder out of the sewers like his life depended upon it, well this takes me right back there. You becoming stylisticaly very melodramatic these days !! ;-)
I saw that movie, gerry, but eons ago, so I don't have any memory of the scene to which you're comparing this. It was a great movie, though. I can still hear that haunting theme music, and the shadowy settings still stand out in my memeory.
