Description
Just a little something for all my fellow Capricorn's, our birthstone Garnet. These are low grade or fractured and have been put through a fine grit tumble. Being a little rough looking gave me the title.
Thought I'd try my luck sticking the camera into a bin or two at last years annual rock show held about 30 minutes from home.

Thanks, it is my day tomorrow. Going up to Yosemite NP for the day, have never captured it in all it's winter splendor!
Never seen garnets like this before, looks like they are in a stream. Nice shot.
Fascinating!!
All you need to do is pick through that pile to find the one without fractures, then run really fast!
