To gain a few pounds!
When I created this image, it was to be a tongue in cheek, funny render.
After I had created it and put it in the upload folder, I read the news about a model who passed away; Isabelle Caro. She died @ 28 years old from complications they think from Anorexia.
Her real claim to fame was when she posed for an Italian Advertising campaign to raise awareness of the disease. the campaign and images were banned because it was thought that it exploited the illness.
this image, then is a dedication to the fight against anorexia and other eating disorders and a tribute to the lady who dared to show the reality of the disease.
Rest In Peace, Isabelle Cora

I like my gals with just a little more meat on them haha, nice work
SPLENDID IMAGE! I'M SORRY FOR THE FRENCH MODEL.
touching text!! wonderful image and dedi!
Mike this is wonderful .. the world needs to wake up and see how destructive it's vision of what a woman should look like can be. The Fashion Industry is probably the worst offender, demanding that models be so thin they look skeletal. It's a travesty. I'm glad you've created this, and I'm glad you've decided to call attention to the disease Isabelle Caro herself had and went public with. Bravo.
I saw the obit and photos of Isabelle and a fine dedi for her and those that suffer from Anorexia. I do think that your "tongue in cheek" resolution came across as you meant it Mike. Very funny and if your Fae needs to add a few pounds, I can send her 20 pounds of mine. :>) Dana
Excellent tribute!
Rest In Peace, Isabelle Cora I welcomed the decision of the government in Spain (2007), the the anorexia as "ideal beauty" is not supported! Minimum for models in Madrid is a BMI of 18, which corresponds to a weight of 56 kilograms at a height of 1.75 meters. Spain is to continue leading the fight against anorexia! When I look at the American "NEXT TOP MODEL" look, I might puke, sorry! Thanks Mike, you've raised this issue JulySun
Fine dedication, Mike! When I see models on catwalks they tend still to be skinnier and skinnier. I think the body ideal in out time is sick! We all look a bit different and that's a good thing. I know anorexia is not that simple but the fashion ideals makes it not easier!
A very well done image and a fitting tribute to this young woman who tried to raise awareness.
Wonderful dedication, and message here, nice work Mike.
