Leroy head morph (mine) on M4, view out the window is mine from a cover I did for Edge/Tesseract books (Avim's oath, which was subsequently pshopped by the publisher >_< ) Well, I got paid.
Happy 2011! It's already a year of changes for me--I'll be moving from Jersey to Chicago after living here longer than anyplace I had before (almost 20 years). So like Leroy I'm mopping up and throwing out stuff (everything has to fit in a 10x10 space). Quite a change for someone who never throws away a 3d magazine or scrap of fabric or useful bit of wire! (I actually have a model tide pool, and a time machine that I have to decide what to do with; two "30 lb pull" conventional archery bows, a couple suits of armor, and three sewing machines and a drill press, and 10 big chunks of oak log to still deal with. I've already tossed the rubber alligator, the skeleton and the 200 Barbies.

Had to chuckle at your wonderful image. A truly unique view of this setting that I've seen in other pics. Love how you tied this to 'real life'. OMG - good luck to you in your move to a new place, a new city. Wow. What a change. Hope all goes well and that the move goes smoothly.

great pose and storytelling, especially for such a simple scene. i love how the bucket seems as full of stars as the window. a perfect scene for packing up and moving. it makes me think of our work as sets that can be packed up and ported. good luck with your move! it sounds like a prodigious undertaking. i hope the 10 x 10 space is for storage, not living. and i hope you don't have to be in Chicago until spring.

I love this whole idea Lynn! That fairy dust can get messy... Kinda reminds me of "Bruce Almighty"... I wish you all the best with your move! I did a big move 3 1/2 years ago (well, big for me, but no full houseload of stuff- just one big room's worth). You really have to take a long look at all the stuff you've accumulated and decide what really can't be parted with. My plastic iguana found a home on my dashboard... ;o)

Mopping up fairy dust...that stuff gets sticky when it gets wet...something about odd protein configurations, I hear...well, at least that's the story I'm sticking with. I love the juxtapositions here too...that view outside the window, a guy mopping, and he's sensible enough to take his shoes and socks off too...all in all, I like this shot, and you're moving to Chicago? WOW! You should definitely let me know when. There's some Chicago Rendos who'd probably manage to put together a nice little welcoming party...or at least spring for pizza. This is really nice work. I like it.
I have swung many a mop over the years.I use to hear people complain that they were not hired to use a mop.I always told them, if the company wants to pay me my previously good hourly rate to mop a floor, I am all for it excellent pose and a handsome dude

A very magical scene! Nice effects with the angel dust! 'Tossing out your Barbies?' Come on! That seems a bit EXTREME doncha think? Hope some deserving little girl got some of them at least! Yes, moving time is never any fun, at least I've never found it to be, the many times I have been involved with it!
