Description
I was at this party for christmas and they had all types of sweet stuff to eat.
I got a red velvet cake which I love and a carrot cake too as I love them too. Plus I got some more sweets as you see there. All these was store bought and what got me was they all taste the same. is it me or is they makeing the cakes with the same stuff and it comes out the same.
I have walked into bakery before and saw all types of goodies and i buy differ bake stuff and I ate them and they all taste the same. I know what that baker did. he use the same dough and put them in differ shapes and sold them. I been in bary at differ places and i bought a lot of bake stuff and they all taste differ. Why? because that baker took the time to make differ types of dough to make his goodies.
I know it be hard and time wise is not on a lot of people hands. but cakes make at home taqst a lot better
I just could not eat this

LOL... yup, home-made -- THE BEST.
bonne annee!!!
hey brother you gave me a real hard laugh at this.out of what oven did they all fall the sweeties??.all tasting the same. using all the time the same dough its like an artist using the same character over and over and just change the texture of the clothes.nothing for me bro. have you a fine new years eve and slide well into the new one.
I've run into that myself, not a good bakery. You just need to find the good ones. :D Great capture! Happy New Year!!! :D
nice shot!!!! Happy New Year, Jocko!!!
An excellent shot! looks delicious! Happy New Year, health, peace and prosperity to you and yours!
Yes,it does seem that home-made goodies do have something special to them just like homegrown foods from a garden taste different than things from a supermarket.
Jock buddy, maybe your taste buds are shot. This looks real good to me. Happy New Year and may your taste buds come back. George
Always an interesting tale, or point of view. Hope you have a wonderful New Year.
Variety is the spice of life. And if I ever ate too much of this yummy stuff it would kill me. In any event, cool capture of the very delicious goodies, Jock.
Mmmmm, Iam just headed out for New Years. I hope to run into some of the same good eats. A fine shot and a Happy new Year to you!!!!!
Looks good--we made red velvet cupcakes last week, with LOTS of cream cheese frosting, bet you would have loved em!!
Happy New Year
Excellent!
Nice Image! Happy New Year !
Cool nice shot!
I agree with you about industrail cakes. My sister did 3 wonderful cakes for Xmas (Cordon bleu!)
~Yes, quality baked goods are hard to find! Nice capture!~
fascinating issue: i love cackes, but they taste different also when i buy them at the pastry shop!
such a great shot, it all looks SO good .. but I find the same as you do. I think it's because bakeries know they can get away with it, and people's expectations are just for soemthing sweet. So that's what you get .. something sweet that looks good. But the taste??? Ehhhh.
Nice shot! It all looks so good to me Jocko. Now I am hungry. Dana
