Description
After filling himself up on the food I put out. This cock sparrow has a nap in the brief bit of sunshine on his favourite perch. After over 3 weeks of sub zero nights these guys dive into the seed as soon as I turn my back. Taken though the bedroom window.

Wonderful capture my friend.
Well captured, but dont roast him over an open fire!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful shot.
Kipstick. Super catch, Kevin. We have no sparrows in my garden at all, but many of blue, coal, great and long-tail tits.
Excellent ! I ♥ the sparrows... :~)
Great timing and do like the detail.
We have lost so many sparrows, in some places up to 70%! I put up a roosting box for them a couple of years ago, high up under the eaves and the few we have are using it, even sharing it with blue tits! Really wonderful image of this lovely little chap! ^=^
Wonderful capture of this little guy; I have some living in my garden along with the chickadees and juncos...
Lovely detail. The colors and patterns on the feathers stand out very well. Great job, especially through glass.
cute :)
Wonderful capture and you caught him sleeping on the job. :>) Dana
