Description
We had considerable snowfall yesterday in our part of south west Somerset as the picture shows. This is a couple of miles from Chard where i live, near the hamlet of Scrapton. Itwas an amazing morning and most of the snow i walked on was completely untouched apart from the odd fox and deer print, one of the advantages of getting out early i suppose.

A thousand apologies bows. I keep forgetting to scan your gallery! Shame on me! ^=^ This is fabulous! We have a bit, but mostly in the small corridor which houses me, it seems to be a tad too cold to snow much! Part of Cornwall is covered though, much like your area, it would seem! Makes for a stunningly beautiful image! ^=^

a beautiful rolling landscape, not just for the obvious beauty of an untouched field covered with still virginal snow. but for the strong blues in shadow, the stark whites in highlight, and the sweep of the land in a kind of "dome" in the background. And the bordered farms in the background, like a pastiche. Beautiful, peaceful, and amazing light.
