Hello my dearest and most wonderful friend. In each and every day in each and every way we are growing. We are more today than we were yesterday but not as much as we will be tomorrow. We are the sum total of all of our experiences. Be they pleasant or unpleasant, we are the results of our experiences and choices. And because of them, we are stronger for having had them. So when things appear in your life that are not to your liking do not say "oh no, here we go again." Look at that event or experience and say to yourself what can I learn from this? When we take this approach, we will realize that each person, each event that comes into our lives has a gift to give or a lesson to be learned. The teacher does not have to be a person... a teacher can be any one or any thing. Now here is the trick... well, it is not really a trick... but here is the key to moving through our events. We shall always know for ourselves that we will be successful, that the outcome will always be positive. No matter what the appearances are, they are not necessarily the truth of who we are. And most importantly remember, "that which we dwell upon expands." If we want more good in our lives, let us think about what kind of good we want and how it feels to have that good. Never dwell upon the negatives... just know they will have a positive result and release that knowingness to the universe. And then... one day... we will notice that whatever that negative was, it has disappeared. That is a truth and truths never change. Only appearances (facts) change. Our thought for the day is: 'The only thing that makes life possible is permanent intolerable uncertainty: the joy of not knowing what comes next.' The holidays are upon us and with it comes beautiful bright colors, lights and a wonderful joy that fills the heart. It is at this time that we move within to the stillness of our minds and find the peace that has always been there. Sometimes when we look at something it makes our eyes open big and wide. That is what this piece does for me. For me there is a sense of joy that is woven through the forms. It almost has that candy cane effect because the colors are soft and delicate and weave throughout this piece. I wish you joy and the best that life has to offer this holiday season. Our own certainties can not eradicate our fears ... Western societies disintegrate, our politicians live on the surface of things, and their ambitions and lust for power, push them towards murderous madness. In my country, I am dismayed to see day after day and praise the empty honor granted to mediocrity. My country is sinking slowly in the non-existence, and neither our youth has a chance to survive ... and we prepare for the dark days ... The money and selfishness rampant in Western society ... our civilization is dying ... poor us who are powerless to erase this!
