Description
Whimsy: A quaint and fanciful idea. A whim. Playfully odd behavior.
I love whimsy. I like it even more when a city has it. Using the signpost at Pioneer Square as a guide, I was walking the five blocks to see Portlandia when I came upon these two standing on a small fountain as they greeted passersby.

I think they are guarding the water but I bet if you slipped them a little fish :) nice capture
Great capture !
Thankyou for sharing these lovely objects.
stunning work!
I love Mikes comment.... Cute capture, and I agree things like this done the right way add such a charm to a town. Nice work.
EXCELLENT IMAGE! SUPERB SHOT!
What a handsome couple to watch over the water supply, I wonder if passers-by would actually throw coins in the fountain and make a wish ? definitely capricious image, BB
