Wow Helle, this is really one of your best. What an amazing macro capture :)
Really beautiful! Without electricity? gosh, like it was in my childhood, several times a week!
Yes, Andrea! The station burned, so they had to replace it.... thats what they said. Yuk it was cold here, even though we have woodburner. It would have been much worsw without that, though.
So sorry to hear about the power outage. We don't have many here and when they do, we get power back within the hour. One of the advantages of living in the city and only 2 blocks from the National Guard and Emergency Services. :-) I love the tiny crystals on this bud. Wonderful capture.
This is like a beautiful diamond. Well captured.
It sparkles beautifully! Lovely image and very cold. Excellent capture! I hope your electricity is back to stay.
Excellent shot - love the detail.

Absolutely wonderful capture of the frost - power outages are not something you need as winter starts - (just as a FYI - we were the 3rd coldest place in the world yesterday morning!)
a VERY beautiful and FANTASTIC macro!!!!!!!!!!
Although it's VERY cold here (this morning it was 14F when Bill took Mandy out) we don't have the conditions for this sort of frost. (It has to do with the dew point and humidity.) I'm loving your photos ... your frost is beautiful to see!
Beautiful DOF and macro capture! Lovely! :)
