Description
August 9th 1945 and the last bomb of World War 2 is dropped on the Japanese city of Nagasaki
Everyone knows the name of the B-29 bomber that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima - the Enola Gay - but how about the one that dropped the atomic bomb on Nagasaki 3 days later? This B-29 was known as "Bock's Car", and Nagasaki was not its original target - the intended target city was Kokura, which escaped as the bomber was under orders to attack only a clear target and the city was shrouded in smog at the time. Nagasaki was the first alternative target city.
The name given to this second, and hopefully the last atomic bomb which will ever be used in anger was "Fat-Man".
Yet another excellent aircraft creation by "Neiwil". Keep em coming mate.

wonderful work and info!!
Xcellent!!!!
Beautiful montage and angle of view. Considering how bright the sun is on the clouds, you could have increased the light on the plane. Yes, let us hope this is the last time a nuclear bomb is used in anger. Well made - good work. Keep it up! :-)
Amen....brilliant Phil. I like the stark contrast between the plane and background. (Prize on the way)
Superb Image and information.
