Rendering of a low-res model representing the mid-Nineteenth century side-wheel steam frigates USS Susquehanna and USS Powhattan enroute to Japan carrying Commodore Perry for his costume drama pre-quel to "The Day The Earth Stood Still." Ironically enough, the arrival of Perry's Black Ships is widely believed to be the day Japan STOPPED standing still, but that's another story... Rendered in Vue8, with the wake painted on in Painter 8. I prepared this basic obj model in Shade 8 to plan how to make an even more detailed facsimile, particularly to work out how to deal with all the rigging etc. Thanks for viewing.
