When I looked at the thumbnails, I was struck by the similarities in colors and light between this one and "Stopover in a Pond" and you know that I rather liked that one. There is beautiful clarity and light in both. The light shines behind the clouds, comes down in streaks from the heavens, and caresses the waves and sand. There is movement in the light, just as there is in the waves rolling onto the shore. I love the way the wet sand reflects the soft warm colors of the dawn. Absolutely stunning color, light, and clarity!
