Description
Nope, not one of my out the window of a plane shots!! I was riding my bike home from the beach the other day and took a light detour. There were several pelicans and egrets wandering around and I caught this guy and his friend just as they took off.

I should love to see wild pelicans!
a wonderful sight to see
Great capture, well done!
Beautiful capture with the wings outstretched! Lovely image!
Wonderful capture. Aloha
wonderful shot. yes they fly away as you come close to them
Get a load of those wings! Wow! Talk about graceful! I had to laugh aloud when I read your title, especially since my internet connection was slow and so the thumbnail didn't fully come up...I was left wondering such things as: "Hmmm...Is Marilyn taking flying lessons now?" Somehow that would'd surprise me...image the photos you could make! I love this picture, especially the POV and the way the larger bird (pelecan?) is gliding so incredibly low. Marvelous!
wonderful capture warm hugs, Linda
Great action capture of this flying scene!
Fantastic in air capture. How do they stay so clean in all that muck? Dana
