Description
One day Lord Talus approaches Dutch.
"Come, Earthman. It's time you and your crew met one of our allies."
The Prince leads them down to a small clearing with a rise in the middle of it and signals all for silence.
He lets forth a strange trilling sound. It is answered a moment later from the forest, similar trilling noises echoing from all around them.
Mitzi and Neville become nervous, their ears and nostrils twitching as a new scent drifts through the air followed by the head of a horse-sized lizard poaking out of the foliage a ways from Talus
Dutch sees a kind of a saddle and harness strapped to the creature's back.
"An odd version of a Velociraptor! Look! Can you see the inteligence in those eyes!" Neville whispers excitedly.
Talus slowly approaches the saurian, hand out and palm up. Reptilian eyes regard Talus for a moment, then sniff the outstretched hand, running a long tongue over it while continuing to keep one, then the other eye on Dutch and the crew.
Talus slowly gestures to Dutch.

An excellent scene : very well composed and rendered !! I like this episode of the training of Dutch and his crew, learning how to be in harmony with the forest ! I think it's a good idea to depict the Tamuran People living in harmony with the nature, in a kind of Tao Wisdom ! Superb work, Ed !! Bravo !!
