Once upon a time, long before the dawn of digital cameras, there lived a beagle. While this beagle has long left this world and even eternity will not bring her back, she will remain immortal in this image I took of her when I was very young.

And now I am crying because this Image and your words touched my heart. We had to say goodbye to our Black Labrador Tobi Jan.2009 and it still hurts and he is missed every day.
Wonderful dedication to the memory of your friend. We also just 2 months ago had to put to sleep a faithful companion (Misty) that had been with us for 17 years. It is hard to explain to someone that never had the love of an animal how attached you get to them.
