Excellent historical image!!!
A very nice illustration of brothers at arms...
really nice work!! who made the uniforms?
Thanks for reminding me RanMan, I've added the props used.
Hey Ed, well done, very dynamic illustration. Love the lighting & the sense of urgency in the scene. Like you when I 1st started to do brit renders, I had to mix & match stuff from panko, poserworld, adh3d & Macmullin to get a passable brit uniform & then I did few simple models to add brit detail. However it never quite fit with the other products available & I always had to do new textures & pose my props individually & every time there was a change in the figure I had to repose my props. If you check out my gallery looking at my older brit stuff, you don't even see a brit canteen, it wasn't till much later that I started modifying & adding my own models, & basically that is what prompted me to create a full set of british uniforms & equipment to go along with the some brit AFVs.
Really vibrant use of colour. Recruiting poster time? Part of my brain tells me that they wouldn't have looked this clean... ;-) And like you said, you can almost bet no-one has socks with an "I've been shelled continuously by Rommel for days and days" morph... ;-)
