Description
I have captured Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum featured here at the Johannesburg Zoo some time ago. They look so lazy but I wouldn't want to be on their wrong side. They sure can do with some good facial cream to iron out those wrinkles... Do zoom for some nasty skin detail! :):)
Thank you for visiting my gallery and your wonderful support in comments and favs on my upload "What's not to adore" of yesterday! You guys rock.
Stay well!

You are being observed... I need one to put in the car - a croc-lock! Clive
My they are pretty, or lets let them think so!!! haha Excellent shot!
Its amazing that when they hear the lunch bell ring, they will wake up very fast. Excellent capture. Aloha
fascinating shot Carin
They look just like our salties. Ours get huge, biggest one I have seen was 22 1/2 feet and the biggest I have helped trap and move was 16 feet.
I think you can tell their age by the details on their back scales...those really complicated ones. I love reptiles--they're not the brightest lights in the harbor, but they look so amazing, and their scales are always so intriguing! Okay, they don't smell so good either, but that's a subjective thing...I suspect they smell good to each other, and us hairy, warm things smell like...well...dinner. I love that you've captured their expressions and even given them personality. Classic names too! It's all perfect. This is a marvelous shot. Oh, and speaking of these critters, the Ancient Egyptians worshiped one named Sebek...apparently they knew how to tame crocodiles (one at a time) and often fed captive ones honey. That has nothing to do with this pic, but there you have it...useless trivia for use at that Trivial Pursuit game. I love this shot.
Great captured twins!!!
the second is watching to you :-)) great capture
