Thank you for stopping for a look. Any and all comments are always appreciated.
As the title says, October has been set aside as Breast Cancer Awareness month. Today's image is just my attempt to help folks take a moment from thier busy day and remember that there is an astonishing number of people affected by this illness. Screening methods are getting better and early treatment can help increase chances of a good outcome, but still the fear and worry that come with this diagnosis is devastating.
My best wishes and prayers go out to every single person afflicted with any form of cancer, and also to their families and supporters. Remember any diagnosis of cancer never ever affects just 1 person. For everyone diagnosed there is always an entire list of people directly or indirectly affected as well, spouse, parents, children, friends, co-workers and so on.

A timely reminder for us all. Cancer doe not take many prisoners; he likes to wear the black cap. My Mum died in 1965 at the age of 52. My Stepdaughters' Mum died in 1976 at the age of 31. My second Husband died in 2009 at the age of 67. Although great strides have been made in the treatment it is so hard to try and be positive when you see someone you love dearly in pain, and yes, it is like ripples on a pond. My thoughts too, for everyone affected. Thankyou.
Yes, it's a hard truth for many who are affected and involved with this "news" to hear the verdict, the result: cancer. A beautiful image of you, Jim. Hopefully also a more effective treatment and investigations in this area.
Great one. I pray for everyone who has had to deal with the word CANCER.
Shining work.
My sister is a survivor, they caught it very early. It's a terrible thing to have to happen, hopefully a cure will be found soon.

excellant pink image great sentiment
My brother-in-law just had surgery for bladder cancer last Friday. It is not difficult to find much online about this type of cancer ... for a man, you remove all the organs around the bladder ... not smoking, not drinking alcohol. .. personally, my wife knows that I will resist any surgery for cancer ... even if it is already dead! We all carry the cells grow ... or not ... we do not know what we eat ... respect the medical instructions to avoid excessive ... Minimum ...
outstanding kaleidoscope and dedication for awareness
A very timely reminder and a great fractal too.
A very magnanimous consideration, Jim, and as the comments show, appreciated by one and all. Also, an excellent fractal to drive the point home. I see reflected here an abstract depiction of the subject at hand and subsequent remediation of same. Beautifully rendered as always.
Beautiful!

This is a wonderful dedication and such a beautiful reminder that we all need to work towards a cure. Outstanding work!
What a beautiful dedication to everyone. Cancer of any kind is a scary ordeal to go through. Jim you are very thoughtful and too kind for words. I know that you personally had to witness a loss of a family member to such a illness. Thank-you for being so strong and humble. With Love Your Wife Glenda
