Description
It was the weathervane that caught my eye. The lighthouse is not a functioning lighthouse but an attention getter at a restaurant in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Taken this afternoon. Zoom for details on the whale.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments.

Very nice shot. What's so unique about this is, instead of the usual rooster, it's a whale!

Superb Capture and Clarity
Nice shot of the Sperm Dana! I never imagined I would ever say that sentence!!!!
A whale was frequently used as a weathervane in the past, specifically a sperm whale as this is. Nice shot! We have a fake lighthouse here as well being used as a restaurant as well.
Great capture Dana.
Most unusual!
Wonder what the whale thinks as he's swimming through the air? Great find and capture!
