I have some fowers outside on a bush that are purple, a month ago when we were dry I thought they were done for the year, the came back... kinda look like lilocks, just ALL purple. .... They are so extra special when they bloom in October! I have a rosebush that has several blooms right now. The leaves on the trees are turning but the rose keeps blooming!

Lovely Mike. It's a slight shame your auto-focus has locked on the surrounding leaves and not the actual rose. This is where manual focus would have prevailed. I hope I don't sound too critical or too much like Simon Cowell! Its just that I've been doing similar shots and was having the same trouble until I shot full manual!
