Description
Northern Namib Desert - Namibia - Feb 2010
My favourite place! We were visiting the old abandoned rosequartz mine when I saw my sister-in-law walking way below with the harsh landscape as backdrop! Kodak moment!
Thank you for visiting and for your very valued comments and favs on my upload "Sensual" of yesterday!
Stay well!
Hugs

Amazing vastness ... the depth, simplicity ... great photo Carin!!
Wonderful capture with super DOF. Thank your sister-in-law for the perspective. Dana
Great view, well captured!
It looks like a lunar landscape! Fabulous shot! :)
This is an amazing shot of such a stark landscape.
wonderful landscape and shot carin !
This is a zoomer-shot! I really need to see that desert for myself! Okay, with Corey and a particular Russian! But anyway, enough of that! WOW! I love the fact that there's so much in this, despite the manner in which it seems to be just so much of nothing...usually when you're dealing with deserts, you're dealing with incredible subtleties and this is one of those definite Kodak moments that is what life is all about. This is super!
Delightful work.
