An awesome and rich sight! I also find it interesting since the name is somewhat like one in BC called Takakkaw Falls (also a native name here), which has a free-fall height of 833 feet but is not nearly so dramatic as Akaka Falls.

Stellar! Those touches of red in the green bring such a great contrast to this and the view of the falls is breathtaking.
Very beautiful and I always enjoy seeing flowers in the picture, too. I am so interested in seeing the beautiful flowers of Hawaii, and will someday get there to see them for myself.
