Description
This is a mud curl. Dried mud. Found on a hike last month at Lick Wash Slot Canyon in Utah. I was fascinated with how it looks like one of my fractal spirals. And considering how I'm obsessed with spirals, I just had to take its picture. I hope you enjoy!
Oh yeah, I did import the image into uf and the border is made in uf.

Excellent work Anne. There are many items in nature that follow the rules of fractals. This is amazing.
Incredible and very cool find!
That is such a cool find. Great shot!
The rules of fractals come from nature, Mother Nature, The Queen of all Fractals. awesome find and shot Peace
Mother Nature supplied you with a fractal of her own and I'm happy you discovered it and shared it with us. I love hiking and finding spirals in nature, especially with ferns.
