Stunning capture my friend.
Wow~~Cool!~~ Zoom Zoom ! :)
Is this a flat six or is ti a twelve? Great shot
That's a stunning shot, where did you find these beauties? Mike it looks like an inline 6 to me. In 1935 the old Talbot factory in Suresnes was taken over by Antony Lago who produced racing cars until 1959 when he sold out to Simca.
Fantastic find and I hope that you post more from in there. Dana
Stunning capture.
Very cool shot and find! Where? Someones collection? Like WANT! Rob
Very cool racer and an excellent capture! :)
Fantastic vehicle
Thanks! It's apparently a 6 cylinder engine, 240hp. The info said that 'whilst it may look like a twin overhead cam unit the cams are mounted halfway up the block and work through short pushrods to the valves, The drive is taken through a Wilson preselector gearbox which allowed the driver to select a gear then depress the clutch to engage it'. Hope that helps! It's just a private collection that is shown and everyone donates $10 which raises money for charity etc. Heaps more stuff to come!
Fabulous beast, yeah Iwantonenessss too!!
Amazing mate and a great companion to the other image. From the late 1940's up to the 1970's are my favourite eras of motorsport.
