During the banquet Dutch and his friends listen to stories and first-hand accounts from Prince Talus and his people about their dealings with the vast forest realm surrounding them. "So, we have learned to rely upon our sense of smell and hearing far more than the weapons we carry," finishes Prince Talus. Dutch frowns. "Are you tellin' me a nose is better'n a blaster?" Talus locks eyes with Dutch. "Your blaster is useless without them." Dutch smirks. "If I can see it, I can hit it!" "Really, Earthman? Tell me...when you came into this room, what did you see?" Dutch frowns. "A big, plain room with a horseshoe shaped table and cushions. A carpet, some lanterns, no windows. Twelve Tamurans,Six of us and the energy signatures of our weapons." Talus smiles grimly , and twitches his left ear, very slightly. Without a sound the rooms walls suddenly show a hundred Tamuran soldiers in front of them, all armed with what appear to be disentigrators! Talus nods.
