Description
This signals the start of Autumn for me. These are the fungi that we all expect fairies to sit on. Poisonous - rarely fatal.
It's halucinogenic properties have been well documented. If it will nearly kill you, why have so many tried it!! I suppose you could say the same for cigarettes and many other things

This is Really Cool!! Awesome shot!!
Initiating me in a few years ago with mushrooms, I learned that the red color of fungi reported stomach upsets and even fatal poisoning. So do not eat! ... For rest of the fairies!
Yes, it´s great for fairies, lol! Wonderful shot and beautiful mushroom!
Excellent capture!!!
This is a wonderful find, the red ones are a "trip" if you eat them. ;) Pun intented! Excellent capture!
Very pretty, looks like a photo out of Alice in Wonderland.
Oh yeah - a fairy shroom for sure! I don't think I'll try eating one!
A wonderful shot of this little beauty!
But ciggies never gave me a tummy upset! Great shot, perfection!
Great details and macro!

guess they get a high off it so they think they see fairies on them. ...wonderful shot
Well, "nearly" killed isn't dead yet. LOL! I'll pass anyway, though! This is a great shot. Wonderful clarity!
