This guy was pulling so hard, I cannot believe the pilot didn't pass out. I may be mistaken, but I got the impression they were flying with a good deal more intensity than they have for a few years.. That's a good thing, IMO

These guys are amazing! They were zooming around Chicago for a bit during the Air and Water Show (Mayor Daley's last one!) and it was quite impressive. I do agree that they're putting a little extra oomf into their already oomf-loaded aerobatic work! That's a good thing, and this is a fantastic capture! Had I attempted this I'd have had a nice abstract blur with maybe a wing-tip, just to keep it interesting, and so hats off to your skill at capturing a subject that really doesn't stand still! This is a marvelous, super-cool shot.
Thanks all.. @Chipka: For the record, there were plenty o' frames of blurry, out-of-frame wing tips on either side of the shots like this.. heh heh
Awesome shot. That is hard to capture. I miss our airshows here in Reading PA. We once rivaled Dayton OH airshow.
