Description
The eastern coast of Shikoku is rugged and a hazard to ships. This is the lighthouse at Kochi. Midway through our train trip we stopped at the town of Kochi for the day. We found a supermarket and bought cheese and wandered through a farmer's market where I bought some carrots. Only then did I realize that I had nothing to clean them. They had a decidedly earthy taste. While at the supermarket I found a lost kitten hiding among the stacks of soft drinks. I went around asking if anyone knew of an animal shelter in town. No luck. Eventually I walked into a police station to ask for help. All the while the kitten was attempting to nurse on my neck. The desk sergeant spoke some English. He said his daughter had wanted a pet and he would take the kitten for her. More Karma points for me. Perhaps I'll get into heaven after all.

Aww, you rescued a kitten! That gives you many Karma points in my book. My sister did the same in Rome, Italy. Beautiful coast and capture! Excellent POV! Perfect to emphasize the solitary world of a light house.

That is quite a drop down and it looks like you were teetering on the edge to get that shot. Looks like you were brave and garnering karma points that day it probably kept you from falling over the edge. I can't believe I'm this far behind, I'm trying to catch up on my comments.
