Description
***********ZOOM IN, IT'S WORTH THE TRIP***********
Yet - the most unusual and weird spider I have ever come across in my garden, crab-like with two little horns on it's back and a yellow underbelly...most wonderful and intriguing markings !
It was sitting there on a lime - mind you not very big one in size - probably only 1cm across the back, in fact I nearly overlooked it.
***
So I said to myself - who else but Andrea - would appreciate this one ? It's yours, my friend !
and anybody else who has a weakness for them ?
I tried to google it - no luck what-so-ever with a name...let's just call it a crab-spider !
enjoy your weekend - *BB*

its dressed as the pumpkin king for Halloween. just flip it upside down hehe
Great capture! cute little spiderette
Arachnophilia! The joys of experiencing (quite vicariously) a distinct inner spidey-woman sense of adventure and the joys of lime. Or sumthin' like that. LOL To borrow from an old quote: this spider's world is obloid and the place which may seem like the end may also be only the beginning. Live long and prosper lil' spider. Super photo and find Brigitte! :-)
OMG, this sure is a strange spider. Kind of like a crab spider, but much stranger. Great find and capture. Aloha

WOW, Fantastic!!! It is astonishing, I wonder what it thinks it's disguised as?! Do you have any seeds or flowers that look like that, or bird poo, even? Thankyou for knowing how much I'd LOVE this, Brigitte!

We have crab spiders here, but not so colorful. Beautiful macro. Nice work, B!
