Description
Great Grey owl at the HCT in the woods.. Very adept at this type of hunting..
Thanks to my many friends here on the warm welcome back.. Heart surgery was very successful, and now feel very much back to normal.. However my Mother had been very ill, and past away recently.. A most wonderful Mother, and I had promised her to keep up my art and photography..

more of your sweeping yet intimate captures of birds in motion, with a span that covers the whole frame, with the body off-center and given balance & music by the longer wingspan on the right (a beautiful reaching out across space); and with beautiful coloring in the face & around the eyes & beautiful highlights in the wings esp on top. Another fine bird capture from you. And Danny, I'm very happy your surgery went well, and I hope you continue to be well & healed. And I'm very, very sorry you lost your beloved mother. I do understand the promise to keep up one's art as a way of saying, You will live on through everything Beautiful...I'm very sorry and I wish you much healing & comfort as you journey (in the words of George Barker the poet) "from mourning into morning". Many sympathies, and I hope you continue to be well otherwise.
