Description
Still wandering around Boston and this is the at Board of Trade Building at 131 State Street. I’m guessing Mercury on the left and Poseidon on the right. Zomm and correct me if I guessed wrong.
Photo taken September 8th

Great arch-itecture Dana.
That's an amazing sculpture, thank you for sharing!
Wonderful capture and sculpture!
Great shot Dana!! I like seeing places I do not get to.
LOL at Mike!! A magnificent facia
They spelled building wrong. Lol! Just kidding. Great shot. :)
LOL@Dave! I always think that too; if they could make the curves for other letters why couldn't they do it for the "U" also? But it is a beautiful building and excellent shot.
wonderful image! They used the Ancient Roman font style. The same font the Romans used in their monuments i.e. the Roman Forum, the Colosseum and so on. Today this "Classical" font is used to inspire a sense of power and tradition.
Love it Super cool shot
Excellent capture!
Love the photos of Boston (next to Gloucester & Rockport)
beau fronton!!
Excellent!
Great snap of the ornate sculpture and architecture, Dana. I zoomed in and agree that is Mercury on the left, but I really don't know who that dude on the right is. Wouldn't Poseidon have a trident? And, yes, they did spell "Building" wrong. What an embarassment.
A very clear photo of this lovely old building.
Amazing photo Dana, gorgeous building!
cool looking
I agree with rainstorm, I too love visiting all these places & getting all the info, thankyou.xxx
