Description
Captain Custard, Hero of the Rim Wars, also a survivor of the Rigel 5 Skirmish, except this time his luck has run out.
A Chaos warp has opened, close to where he was stationed and is about to be overwhelmed by the Horde, desperately fighting with all that's left of his Ultra Marine Honour Guard...but it's only a matter of time before defeat rears it's ugly head...
I bet the Chaos Horde are wondering if he is yellow on the inside, just like custard ?...LOL
Cheers jif3d :o)

Makes me think of the old space opera novels. He survives, but just barely, all his men are gone, he recovers, swearing vengeance upon those who killed his men and left him with only one arm.... Great render
damn fine fire power!!! cool dudes!
I remember CUSTER'S LAST STAND...1876...mmm, must be older than I thought ! The only difference is that Captain Custard has a better weapons, but that still won't help him winning this battle. Great POV and use of DOF, not to mention the cool lighting effects. Incredible 3D skill's and attention to detail, especially all those honour badges ! BB
Excellent action scene...too bad it ends for Custard and friends! I really like the work you did with the weapons fire effects and corresponding light! Nice!
An interesting bit of work here.
Too bad Custard doesn't have a warp of his own. Love the honor guard and their decorations! Cool sci fi action!
It was Colonel Custard in the Library with a wrench! The coppers have finally caught up to him!
Stick a fork in him huh, he's done? I never believe that till I hear the Death Rattle from the Lungs, Fart Smuckers like him have a knack of skating away. Doubt he's yellow inside, prolly gloopy Black/Red like unfinished Blood Pudding, Urp! Awesome job as always Jeff, Thumbs High buddy Peace
fine action scene, this gives ideas. i got me the warhammers freebies from vanishing point site as well.i heard some of them like the legion of the damned is joining force with August Schwengel and the Schmutzz troops. we will see that posted maybe today lol. a very fine and inspiring work to me .
Nice fight scene I like the Honoury guards!
Great render and scene! ;o)
Impressive and splendid fantasy my friend.....!!!
Looks like he's got a Lot of support!! ( but then again so did Custer....) do the Horde take Scalps??? Excellent Job!!
Superb action scene. CC
At least he goes out fighting. Great one!
Great battle scene!
Mmmmmmmmm ... this made me suddenly hungry. *Custard is a variety of culinary preparations based on a cooked mixture of milk or cream and egg yolk. Depending on how much egg or thickener is used, custard may vary in consistency from a thin pouring sauce (creme anglaise), to a thick pastry cream used to fill eclairs. If Capt. Custard can pull this off, he may be promoted to General Custard: a custard for all seasons as it were. Well done Jeff. *Wikipedia
Cool WH40K image Jeff :)
Awesome action scene!!
Can almost hear those guns blasting, awesome looking action scene Jeff.
Ah for the lack of ammunition! Great image!
Awesome Action incredible scene!
An excellent action scene with great lighting and posing. Those weapons look as if they would punch a nasty punch for the receiver and you never know they might win. He certainly doesn't look to be yellow at all.
Terrific looking Cylon costumes Matey.
super action pack here
Great scene!
Yess! Crash and Burn! Great Image!
Very good work!!!
This is really fine, Jeff. The color scheme is great, perfect composition (as always), and your usual attention to detail make it another super piece. The fire from the weapon on the left is particularly well done - cool angle. And the DOF effect rocks!
Very beautiful work!
