Description
This is a scene I created in May and finally got around to completing. It's a bit dark so a zoom would be helpful.

This is an image that makes me want to know her story. I think she has a fellow survivor, that they spent time earlier gathering what they could of the ships provisions, he went off to check the surroundings, and now, after worrying about his delayed return, she hears a sound and is raising her lamp to see if it is him. Excellent lighting and composition. Lovely evening sky, silvery moonlight on the water, and golden glow of the lamps. I love the silhouette of the ship, and the long shadows. Beautiful scene!

the atmosphere is great for this dark scene and the lighting is great too.
The dark, moonlit sky. The bright lights. The contrat in this image. it all enhances the feeling of being between hope and dispair.....
