looks like mars or a cg scene - ...does the lava alway dry solid or are there sink holes with hot lava under it? That goes through my mind when I think of you walking around on this freshly made material.
What a challenging terrain!
You'd never know this was Hawaii--seems so bleak and dry, a far cry from the usual tropical scene we're so used to!!

I love to go hiking. That sounds like it would be good. The HDR effect really makes this landscape stand out. I really like the cloud off to the left.
that cloud look like a abomb cloud to me. The land is so rocky and all. nothing grows here. a wonderful shot
