Description
Complete rework of the previous: I changed the background image to the Andromeda galaxy, moved the sunlight and moons, added a blue tint to the haze and water, and a selected a different POV on the terrain.
It’s not perfect, but better than my last. It’s been a learning curve for sure – and mine has been a straight line for a long time...
Many thanks for the members on Planetside Forum: cyphyr’s tip to turn off the image color interpolation, and especially for Volker Harun who suggested some very good artistic nuances for me to consider.
Thanks for looking in!

Some where out there ...a world soon to be discovered. This has come together beautifully.
Exciting background and such cool work! Excellent.
What a wonder to be in a place like that! How very beautiful a render this is. Well done!
Fantastic! I like this one better, too, yes. You see more of the terrain details now. And the background is awesome. Corrie
Nice render
I think this is the best of your mini-series. Awesome image!
Nice work! Well done!
Wow Rich, This is the image type I strive to make. Its beautiful.Fav!!!
cool concept and work
A serene scene, looking out into the vastness of the universe, which in turn is reflected in a pool of water. The stark, hard, rock alien landscape divides the water and the dark sky, providing an highly evocative contrast between the two softnesses. Several tall rock shapes seem vaguely human-like, as if they were gazing in quiet fascination of the stars and galaxy overhead.
Very cool SF scene.
Really really nice work man!! those terrain formations are amazing
If those are hot springs, I'm going there to relax and enjoy the view! Beautifully done!
