Description
On our usual morning rounds inspecting the garden,
it was actually my son Jeff, who discovered this little nest lying empty under one of our Leopard trees.
It was most likely a poor little Fairy-Wren nest, which was probably blown down in the last storm.

...and then it went all pear-shaped, when I played cuckoo - I did not paint that smiley face on it - this is just the way they can be brought from our Supermarket...

Gosh compared to the Nest, an Eagle will hatch, the parents would have a hard time to feed this on. You made me giggle so I feel sorry that the Nest was blown down :(

Wow! A leopard tree. Does it produce real leopards? And no wonder that nest showed no other signs of life. I'll bet the bird laying that egg exploded. Cool work Brigitte.
