Description
The Valkyne warrior puts down his sword and shield and takes a moment to reflect on his quest completed. After a long journey filled with many trials and perils, he succeeded in reaching the Tower in the Sky and re-lighting the Beacon of Randalthor. Having re-kindeld the flame of the beacon, climbed back down the tower and across the sky bridge, he now pauses in the shadow of the statues of the ancient guardians to consider what new quests and adventures lie ahead...

I think he is standing still because he knows the lighting is excellent on his hair, face, and chest. All that derring-do and beauty, and he's bound to be at least a little vain. Lovely use of color! He and the fire stand out beautifully against the gray and blue of the background. I also like the color of his outfit which is in contrast to the background, but is muted enough to keep the main focus on the hero. It is also excellently detailed and textured. Wonderfully interesting props all around. Great light and shadows. Superb image!
