Ooh, I like this very much. Even though the character in only in 1/3 of the render, the focus isn't unbalanced.

Very nice composite. Lotta 3D looks just kinda "slapped on" to the background image, but this really works well. One idea for this sort of thing: when you've got obvious highlights in the background plate (the flames here), you can use the plate as a reflection for shiny surfaces -- really helps "sell" the composite.
